Founder Story
Why Approved Pump Products Exists
For three decades, our founder worked inside the pump and water-well industry. He saw the industry from the contractor's side—the emergency calls, difficult installations, equipment failures, demanding schedules, customer expectations, and the pressure to get water restored quickly.
He also watched the supply side of the industry change. As suppliers became larger and more consolidated, the relationship sometimes became less about serving the contractor and more about the contractor fitting into the supplier's system.
We believe that relationship should work the other way around. The supplier exists to support the contractor. The contractor is the one standing between a failed water system and the people who depend on it.
